Andrew Leung studied fine art and film at the prestigious Academy of Art College in San Francisco and illustrated the children's book The Royal Waker-Upper by Elaine Masters. Prior to joining R!OT Santa Monica's celebrated matte painting department apprenticing under Michele Moen in 2004, Leung was a character animator and freelance visual developement artist for Disney. Leung helped bring to life some of the fantastic and otherworldly environments featured in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. More recently, he helped recreate the architecture and natural environment of ancient Rome for the critically acclaimed ABC mini-series Empire.

His other credits include commercial work for Pepsi, Kia, Nissan, Mattel, as well as the films Team America: World Police, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D, and Stay. Leung is a concept designer in his spare time and currently resides in New York.
